727. Deputy Robert Troy asked the Minister for Social Protection the number of recipients who are in receipt of Jobseeker's allowance unbroken continuously in excess of 12 months, 24 months and 36 months, in tabular form. [63791/25]

Estimates for the number of persons unemployed are published monthly by the CSO in the Monthly Unemployment Estimates, and official employment and unemployment numbers are published quarterly in the Labour Force Survey. The CSO will publish official unemployment numbers in respect of Q3 2025 on Thursday 20th November. The long-term unemployment rate (those unemployed for a year or more) in Q2 2025 stood at 1.1%.

The table below summarises the number of individuals in continuous receipt of Jobseeker's Allowance (JA) for durations 0-12, 13-24, 25-36 or 37+ months. Please note that casual workers are not included in these figures.
