210. Deputy Darren O'Rourke asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade if he has spoken with the US Secretary of State in the past two months. [65172/25]

My predecessor, Tánaiste Simon Harris T.D., had the opportunity to engage with Secretary of State Marco Rubio at the UN General Assembly High-Level Week in September, notably at the Transatlantic Foreign Ministers Dinner, hosted by the Secretary of State and EU High Representative Vice-President Kaja Kallas, and at the U.S. Host Country Reception.

I look forward to meeting and working with the Secretary of State as Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade.
