Deputy Joanna Byrne asked the Minister for Health to outline the specific measures being taken at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, in preparation for the winter 2025-2026 season; whether any additional acute and step-down bed capacity will be provided; whether any additional emergency department surge capacity will be provided; whether any additional staffing allocations are planned; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
