View answerThe position outlined in my reply to Parliamentary Question No. 126 of 5 November 2025 remains the same, which set out that there are no minimum terms of employment associated with this programme, which remains at the discretion of each local authority in accordance with section 159 of the Local Government Act 2001 which provides that each Chief Executive is responsible for the staffing and organisational arrangements necessary for carrying out the functions of the local authority for which he/she is responsible.
