Deputy Erin McGreehan asked the Minister for Health the methodology used to determine the level of funding provided to each HSE region for the implementation of the National Cancer Strategy in 2026; the criteria applied in determining regional allocations; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The Regional Health Area budgeting process is determined by the Health Service Executive, as such I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond to the deputy directly, as soon as possible.
