641. Deputy Pádraig Rice asked the Minister for Health if private practice will take place in the new HSE surgical hubs; if private work has been conducted in the South Dublin Surgical Hub since it opened in February; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [68031/25]

The Surgical Hubs will treat all patients as public patients. However, I have asked the HSE, which has responsibility for the operation of the surgical hub at Mount Carmel in south Dublin, to respond to you directly on the matters raised.
