Deputy Cathy Bennett asked the Minister for Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht to provide a breakdown of all consultants engaged with his Department; the costs associated with their services, by year, and name of consultant, in each of the years 2012 to 2025, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department publishes details of consultancy payments made in a given year following the close of the financial year. The published information comprises details of the nature of the consultancy work undertaken and the costs incurred.

My Department was established in July 2017, information on consultancies from that date to end 2024 is available on our website at the following link:

Details of consultancy payments made in 2025 will published in early 2026 once the present financial year is complete. In the meantime the following table provides details of payments made to external consultants to date in 2025.
