The school referred to was approved funding under the Department’s Additional School Accommodation Scheme to provide a 2 classroom special educational needs base.

In September 2025, the Department authorised the project to proceed to construction, and the school has since confirmed that works are now underway on site, with an estimated completion date by the end of 2026.
