The school to which the Deputy refers to was approved funding under the Additional School Accommodation (ASA) Scheme 2024: Provision of Modular Accommodation under the Department’s Special Education Needs (SEN) Reconfiguration and Modular Accommodation programme for reconfiguration works to provide 2 X SEN.

As the proposed annex building is not viable, the reconfiguration works were placed on hold until a more viable solution could be devised.

The DEY are currently working closely with the Project Management Team who are overseeing this project and a solution is currently in design stage.

The Project Management team are currently carrying out surveys in relation to this proposed solution & are also in contact with the Local Authority to ensure further progress.
