605. Deputy Ken O'Flynn asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage the date on which his Department last received an update from the Building Control Management System on the validation of Modern Methods of Construction data; the expected completion date for this validation; and the internal deadline his Department has set for publishing the first tranche of MMC statistics. Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage

Detailed entry of MMC Data into the Building Control Management System commenced in May 2025. The data has been collected on a monthly basis and has undergone continuous internal review and validation by my Department and the National Building Control and Market Surveillance Office. Six months of data is now available and is undergoing final review. A timeline for publication will be set in due course.
