My Department is currently undertaking a review of jury service, which is informed by research on the topic including the Law Reform Commission’s Report on Jury Service, submissions made by stakeholders including the Bar Council and Law Society, as well as legislative and policy developments in related areas over the past number of years.

All aspects of jury reform, including the issues raised by the Deputy, will be considered as part of this process.
