365. Deputy Pa Daly asked the Minister for Children, Disability and Equality the number of older people awaiting a home help package in Kerry, by area and by length of time, in tabular form; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [72942/25]

Minister of State at the Department of Children, Disability and Equality

While home support services for people with disabilities fall under my remit as Minister for Children, Disability and Equality, home help as it relates to older persons services is a matter for my cabinet colleague, the Minister for Health.

As this question refers to service matters, I have asked the Health Service Executive (HSE) to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible.
