My Department will be introducing retrofitting assistance facilities for the energy performance of buildings, in line with Article 18 of the recast Energy Performance of Buildings Directive, to assist all building owners and actors involved in energy renovations who wish to retrofit or renovate their building to achieve better energy performance with a focus on vulnerable households, people affected by energy poverty and low-income households. These facilities will align with our existing structures in providing independent advice and deliver streamlined information in person on technical and financial measures to support improved energy performance to building owners, as well as dedicated services to vulnerable households and individuals.
