Deputy Richard Boyd Barrett asked the Minister for Social Protection if his Department uses artificial intelligence tools for any graphic design or similar work in place of artists, designers or videographers; and if so, to outline which projects or units of the Department are affected. View answerI can confirm that my Department does not use artificial intelligence tools in place of artists, designers or videographers. My Department is aware of the Guidelines for Responsible Use of AI in the Public Service, and the Cyber Security Guidance on Generative AI for Public Sector Bodies. My Department will continue to assess the suitability of AI on a case by case basis.
