In the past ten years and to date in 2026, the Department of the Taoiseach required a technical Supplementary Estimate of €1,000 in respect of its Vote - Vote 2 - in 2023 (which was approved by the Dáil on 29 November 2023) and a substantive Supplementary Estimate of €3.389 million in 2025 (which was approved by the Dáil on 25 November 2025).

Full details of each of these Supplementary Estimates in respect of Vote 2, including the gross and net amounts involved and the Vote subheads to which each Supplementary Estimate related, are published in the Revised Estimates Volume for the Public Services and available for 2023 here: ssets.gov.ie/static/documents/supplementary-estimates-for-public-services-2023-batch-2.pdf, and for 2025 here:assets.gov.ie/static/documents/497c8433/SUPPLEMENTARY_ESTIMATES_2025_SKELETON_BOOK.pdf
