2127. Deputy Cathal Crowe asked the Minister for Health given that a number of patients receiving dialysis are homeless or at risk of homelessness, if such patients will be automatically placed in the band 1 category in the future; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [74189/25]
View answerAs this refers to a service matter, regarding patients who are receiving dialysis who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, I have sent this question to the HSE for their response.
I also note that Band 1 eligibility for social housing is determined under housing legislation and local authority allocation schemes, which are the remit of the DHLGH and local authorities.
