519. Deputy Barry Heneghan asked the Minister for Transport if he is aware of ongoing concerns from passengers using northside DART services regarding the clarity and audibility of platform and onboard announcements during service delays or disruptions; the standards or guidelines currently in place for public address systems and staff announcements across the DART network; whether compliance with these standards is monitored or audited by Iarnród Éireann; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport; however, I am not involved in the day-to-day operations of public transport.
