View answerThe Road Safety Authority (RSA) has statutory responsibility for the National Driver Testing Service, which includes the operation of the theory test. This includes the provision of various options to accommodate candidates who may require special assistance to take their test. Neither I or my Department are involved in the day to day operation of the service.
Having regard to the case the Deputy has outlined, I have referred the questions to the RSA for direct reply. I would ask the Deputy to contact my office if a response has not been received within ten days.
