Deputy Ciarán Ahern asked the Minister for Social Protection to list the roles within public or semi-State organisations under his Department that are excluded from the single public service pension scheme; the number of people employed in those roles, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Membership to the Single Pension Service Pension Scheme is determined by assessing the eligibility of employees against the provisions of the Public Service Pensions (Single Scheme and Other Provisions) Act 2012. There are no exclusions for eligible staff within our agencies.
