13. Deputy Malcolm Byrne asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade if any website or other platform operated by her Department uses an AI-enabled chatbot; if there are plans to use chatbots; in what circumstances; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [4835/26]
View answerMy Department does not use generative AI chatbots as part of the online services it provides to the public. There is a limited deployment of chatbots within the Department's IT infrastructure to assist officers with information management. Any future deployments of AI will be aligned with the Guidelines for the Responsible Use of AI in the Public Service.
