261. Deputy Malcolm Byrne asked the Minister for Children, Disability and Equality if any website or other platform operated by her Department uses an AI-enabled chatbot; if there are plans to use chatbots; in what circumstances; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [4828/26]

Minister for Children, Disability and Equality

The Department currently does not operate any website or platform that uses an AI-enabled chatbot.

There are currently no specific plans to use AI-enabled chatbots on Department operated websites or platforms.

Any future request to do so will be subject to the submission of a detailed business case and review against relevant policies and procedures.
