As Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport; however, I am not involved in the day-to-day operation, provision, and maintenance of the public transport and roads network.

The query raised by the Deputy in relation to public transport providers are operational and communications matters for the respective individual transport companies. I have therefore forwarded the question to Dublin Bus, Bus Éireann, Transdev, and Go-Ahead for direct reply. Please advise my private office if you do not receive a reply within ten working days.
