Tourism Ireland, the organisation with responsibility for marketing the island of Ireland overseas, continues to promote Ireland as a premier global tourism destination. With an ambitious strategy for 2026 and beyond, Tourism Ireland aims to attract visitors by elevating Tourism Brand Ireland, highlighting our iconic landscapes, rich culture and heritage, and deepening emotional connections through impactful creative campaigns, media activity and publicity across international markets.

As part of this strategy, Tourism Ireland will once again support the Global Greening initiative and deliver a substantial programme of media outreach, travel trade engagement and consumer promotions to harness Ireland’s heightened visibility around 17 March 2026. This activity will span key markets including Great Britain, Mainland Europe, North America and Australia.

Tourism Ireland will collaborate with selected landmark sites in priority markets, building on the strong success of the 2025 initiative.
