Deputy Richard Boyd Barrett asked the Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration further to Parliamentary Question No. 395 of 2 December 2025, for an update on the delays in publishing the report (details supplied); whether the legal advice has been given so that the report can be published, given that it has been with him since July 2025; if he will publish the report; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I can confirm that relevant legal advice has recently been received. My Department is engaging with the Office of the Inspector of Prisons with a view to progressing the publication of the report.
