974. Deputy Martin Daly asked the Minister for Health the number of HIQA inspections carried out in public hospitals during 2025; and the number of high-risk findings identified at each location, in tabular form. [5706/26]
View answerIn 2025 HIQA conducted inspections at 20 public hospitals against the 11 National Standards for Safer Better Healthcare. With two instances of these standards not inspected, a total of 218 standards were inspected across the 20 hospitals. The results were on balance compliant with the standards. There were 4 cases of non-compliance noted and 45 instances of partial compliance but the remaining 169 inspections were deemed either compliant or substantially compliant.
