Under the Community Pharmacy Agreement, which was agreed in September 2025 by the Health Service Executive , Department of Health and Irish Pharmacy Union, a yearly allocation of €4,500,000 is being made available to provide for a HSE-tendered medicine disposal service from community pharmacies. As this is a service matter, I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible.
