1198. Deputy Carol Nolan asked the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science the number of participants from County Offaly in skills development and training programs funded by his Department in 2025; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7527/26]
View answerSOLAS, the state agency responsible for FET, states in its “This is FET 2024” report, that 5,004 FET learner enrolments or 2.2% of all FET learner enrolments were resident in County Offaly in 2024. Data for 2025 will be published later this year.
My officials are gathering data on training being delivered by other providers funded by this Department and this will be forwarded to the Deputy when available.
Further Education and Training (FET) is primarily delivered or contracted by the 16 Education and Training Boards (ETBs).
