Deputy Matt Carthy asked the Minister for Transport the agencies and bodies under the aegis of his Department; the contact information of each available to members of the Oireachtas as per the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform Circular 25/2016; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerThere are 12 commercial bodies and 5 non-commercial bodies under the aegis of the Department of Transport, governed by the Code of Practice for the Governance of State Bodies 2016. My Department has a dedicated governance division which oversees compliance with the Code, including appropriate circulars relating to agencies.
My Department actively engages with its agencies regarding compliance with the Code and its circulars and that the Performance Delivery Agreements of our non-commercial agencies specifically outline the requirement to comply with Circular 25/2016.
