964. Deputy Peter 'Chap' Cleere asked the Minister for Health the way in which the Food Safety Authority of Ireland became aware that beef from Brazil treated with oestradiol was available on the Irish market in December 2025; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [7446/26]

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) has overall responsibility for the enforcement of food law in Ireland; therefore, as this is an operational matter, I have asked the FSAI to reply directly to the Deputy.
