367. Deputy Sean Fleming asked the Minister for Health the situation regarding a person (details supplied) who has long Covid as a result of working for funding paid by her Department to a section 39 organisation; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [8811/26]

After a hearing in June, the Labour Court recommended that the Special Scheme would come to an end on the 31st of December 2025, therefore, the scheme has formally concluded. The Department and HSE have no oversight of S39 employees as we are not the employer.
