471. Deputy Malcolm Byrne asked the Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment if Ireland will be represented at the Global AI Summit in India in February 2026; if so, the nature of that representation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9273/26]

As Minister of State with responsibility for Trade Promotion, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation, I look forward to representing Ireland at India's forthcoming AI Summit in New Delhi.

Government is dedicated to working with international partners and are fully committed to supporting global digital transformation to ensure that AI technologies are developed and deployed responsibly, inclusively, and for the benefit of all. I acknowledge the leadership that India is showing in convening international partners to address opportunities and challenges in this rapidly evolving field.
