The events raised by the named person have been the subject of two separate internal reviews by senior management of my Department. Comprehensive formal written responses were issued on both occasions to the named person outlining my Department’s position. A further written response was issued by my Department on 4 February 2026 in relation to the named person’s recent correspondence dated 22 January 2026.
My Department investigates all complaints received in relation to animal health and welfare but is not at liberty to disclose investigative details and follow up actions with third parties.These constraints are necessary to maintain the integrity of our procedures and confidentiality obligations.
