As the Deputy may be aware, in June 2025 My Department engaged with a number of schools affected by defective concrete blocks. As part of this engagement it was noted that My Department is taking a programme approach to the issue at hand and this will inform the pathway for all affected schools.

My Department plans to conduct a site visit to the affected schools over the coming weeks. My Department is aware of the urgent nature of the works required and will keep the school informed throughout the process.
