263. Deputy Peadar Tóibín asked the Minister for Transport if there is a canteen in his Department headquarters; and if the Minister can provide assurances that all meat sold or provided in that canteen is of Irish origin. [11191/26]
View answerI can confirm that canteen facilities are available in the Department of Transport headquarters. I can further provide assurance that all meat sold or provided through these facilities is of Irish origin. The catering vendor supplies full traceability documentation for the origin of all produce, and all meat is sourced exclusively from Ireland and from Irish suppliers.
