312. Deputy Mairéad Farrell asked the Minister for Climate, Energy and the Environment to confirm the existence of the ‘Inland Fisheries Primary Legislation and Policy Group’ within his Department; the number of staff assigned to this group; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12072/26]
View answerI can confirm to the Deputy that my Department is structured into divisions (under Assistant Secretaries) and sections (under Principal Officers). The Inland Fisheries section is part of the Circular Economy and Resource Efficiency Division.
Responsibility for Inland Fisheries is divided into an agency governance team with two staff assigned and policy/legislation team with eight staff assigned.
