View answerTo enable the accurate enumeration of recipients of various types of Jobseeker’s schemes, the Department uses a unique administrative code which is only applied to a claim that has already been awarded. Statistics are maintained on the average processing time for Jobseeker’s Benefit, but such data is not separately collated in respect of the Benefit Payment for 65 year-olds. Accordingly, the data sought cannot be provided in the manner referred to by the Deputy.
The current average processing time for Jobseeker's Benefit is 1 week.
