View answerThe Garda Commissioner is responsible for the management and administration of An Garda Síochána under section 33 of the Policing, Security and Community Safety Act 2024, which includes the procurement of Garda equipment throughout the State.
The table below has been provided to me by the Garda authorities and outlines the number of unmarked vans allocated to and removed from the Garda Fleet in 2025 and 2026 as of 31 January 2026.
