View answerThe project referred to by the Deputy was a joint application from a club and school and was provisionally allocated €166,000 in 2024 from the Community Sport Facilities Fund towards ball-stop netting, a lawnmower, hurling wall, security fencing and goalposts for the club and an artificial playing surface for the school. The Department are engaging with the club and the school and and expects to issue formal approval shortly.
