Deputy Roderic O'Gorman asked the Minister for Transport whether Córas Iompair Éireann implement the terms of the 1993 Board meeting regarding the CIÉ Rationalisation Agreement, including annual increases to pensions in payment, in the interim period (1993 to 2000) pre the enactment of S.I.323/2000; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerAs Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport. As a commercial semi-state body, Córas Iompair Éireann (CIÉ) are responsible for the provision of pension schemes for their employees.
