225. Deputy Eoin Ó Broin asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade the number of Irish citizens living in illegal Israeli settlements in the West Bank; whether the Irish Government engages with them; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [14798/26]

Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade

Irish citizens living overseas are not obliged to register their details with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. It is therefore not possible to specify the number of Irish citizens living in illegal Israeli settlements in the West Bank.
