Public servants working in public service bodies under the aegis of my Department are members of either the Single Public Service Pension Scheme or a pre-existing pension scheme and accordingly, pension auto-enrolment is not necessary for employees of these bodies.

Responsibility for ensuring compliance with auto-enrolment requirements in respect of persons working in agencies or organisations funded by my Department, who are not public servants, is a matter for the relevant employer.  This would include employees of Commercial State Bodies under the aegis of my Department.  Decisions around the specific breakdown of funding allocations to certain organisations, by bodies under the aegis of my Department, are operational matters for those aegis bodies.
