896. Deputy Pearse Doherty asked the Minister for Health when a patient in Letterkenny University Hospital will be transferred to Beaumont Hospital for an urgent surgical procedure (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [16870/26]

The Minister for Health is precluded from intervening in individual cases. As this is a service matter, I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond to the deputy directly, as soon as possible.
