186. Deputy Louis O'Hara asked the Minister for Social Protection if a non-contributory pension case (details supplied) will be reviewed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22862/26]
View answerFollowing a review of entitlement to state pension non-contributory, the person concerned has been awarded the maximum rate of pension from 6 March 2026, the date the pension was reduced from. A letter issued on 24 March 2026 outlining the decision.
The first payment at the revised rate will be made on Friday 3 April. My Department will be in touch with the person concerned regarding pension arrears due.
