220. Deputy Cathy Bennett asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the amount of beef Ireland has exported to each European country in each of the years 2022 to date in 2026, by year, by county, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22651/26]
View answerThe Central Statistics Office is responsible for official trade statistics in Ireland, while Eurostat has that responsibility at EU level.
According to preliminary data from the Central Statistics Office, some 457,000 metric tonnes (mt) of beef was exported in 2025 with an estimated value of €3.6 billion.
The table below details the volume of beef exported to all European destinations in tonnes for the years 2022 to 2025 by country. Data is not available on a county basis and data for 2026 to date is not yet available. It should be noted that figures for 2025 are preliminary estimates and subject to revision.
