Deputy Roderic O'Gorman asked the Minister for Health the steps she has taken to resolve the ongoing dispute arising from a decision to increase the number of student radiographers without a commensurate increase in the number of practice tutors in radiography; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Officials from my Department and the HSE are working closely with the Union to resolve the matter under the auspices of the WRC. As this is an ongoing industrial relations matter it would be inappropriate for me to comment any further.
