An application for state pension contributory was received on 25 March 2026. The person concerned was awarded this pension at the weekly rate of €260.80 and €22.00 living alone increase from their 66th birthday, 14 May 2026. They were also awarded the Fuel allowance.

The person concerned was advised that they may benefit from applying for the HomeMakers and HomeCaring schemes. If the person concerned is awarded caring credits/caring periods, their pension entitlement will be reviewed, and they will be notified of the outcome without delay.

I hope this clarifies the position for the Deputy.
