Deputy Aindrias Moynihan asked the Minister for Climate, Energy and the Environment the total amount in unredeemed deposits under the deposit return scheme in 2025; the amount from the 2025 unredeemed deposits made available to community-based initiatives; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I refer the Deputy to the reply to Questions numbered 382, 383 and 384 of 13 January 2026.

The position regarding the value of unredeemed deposits remains unchanged.

Re-turn's 2025 annual report and financial statements, due mid-year, will contain final and audited figures for unredeemed deposits.
