My Department has made significant progress in delivering on our commitments under the Programme for Government. Updates on relevant commitments are set out in tabular form below. The Department has worked to promote and defend Irish interests and values and to deliver on behalf of Irish citizens at home and abroad - and will continue to do so.

In addition to these commitments on which the Department leads, co-leads or plays a significant role, DFAT also contributes to the delivery of a number of other Programme for Government commitments that are led by other Government departments.

I would also refer the Deputy to the Department's Action Plan for 2026, as well as the Department's Annual Report for 2025, which will be published in due course.
