Deputy Michael Murphy asked the Minister for Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation the current ownership status of the former Borrisoleigh Garda Station; whether the property has been declared surplus to requirements by An Garda Síochána or the Office of Public Works; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am advised by the Commissioners of Public Works (OPW) that the station at Borrisoleigh is in operational use by An Garda Síochána (AGS) and the Office of Public Works (OPW) have not been advised by AGS that it is surplus to their requirements.
