The National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS), which operates under the Heritage Division of my Department is funded through the Department’s Vote.

In 2025, the core capital allocation for the NPWS amounted to €44 million. This allocation was fully expended by year-end, representing a 100% drawdown of the capital budget.
